How Can We Be Happy?

Have you ever thought about what puts a smile on your face, encourages you, relaxes you, or brings you happiness?  Depression, suicide, money or lack of, and loneliness are the world’s most common enemies.  We must get rid of people or things in our lives that play a negative role.  I’m sure you have thought to yourself “if only I was famous, rich, popular, better looking…?  Then I would be happy”.  This could not be further from the truth! 

These things CANNOT buy your happiness.  Take for example Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Kurt Cobain, Whitney Houston, and Robin Williams.  Just a handful of the many gorgeous, talented, and most famous people in the world who let life’s struggles get to them.  Ask yourself what really matters and who is most important to you.  Choose your battles wisely and focus on the things that will impact your heart in the best way.

Serve others in need.  Great ways to take focus off yourself and bring joy to others.

Stop comparing yourself to others.

Read more and watch your social media intake.  Lots of negative things nowadays.
